“You are a letter from Christ . . . not written with ink but with [the] Spirit of [the] living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” 2 Cor 3:3 AMP

One ministry venture the Lord has me in is lettersofchrist.wordpress.com. On this blog are examples of some early testimony docs I penned. My idea is a full article covering someone’s account of Christ on a four-page 11 x 17 doc with photos, quotes, headings, etc. However, any length spiritual bio is a possibility. Mission: lost souls. If you or anyone you know of is interested and willing to share a testimony doc in and around the city in which they reside, I’d love to connect with them. I can interview persons via FaceTime or Google Hangouts. Then I’ll write up the story, format it, and email the finished doc. Or I can merely edit anyone’s writing and produce a newsletter style doc from it. Offerings cover my work. And fundraising can make any testimony project work. My first priority is publishing the truth about Yeshua the Christ, and what He accomplishes in souls. Email me: katherinefbell@me.com. As the Lord may lead you, thank you so much for any support (prayer or finances) for this Mark 16:15 AMPC evangelism ministry.  Send through PayPal, katherinefbell@me.com. “And Jesus said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].”

teen runaway runs into Jesus’ arms

Isaiah 61:1 and following tells my story. My life was “ashes”—an abusive, broken family—addictive use of marijuana, spice, cocaine, ecstasy, and xanax from my early teens—a runaway living at the Pensacola Currie House Shelter. Then while at a Pensacola House of Prayer Sunday night meeting, I touched the presence of the Living God. I touched Love. Soon after this, I asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save me. And He did! He gave me “beauty” and “gladness” and the “oil of joy” instead of “mourning.” He gave me “a spirit of praise” instead of depression. I became His “planting”—a “strong and graceful oak for His own glory” in the making. I kid you not: getting totally free of drugs and my wayward party-going friends took almost eight months. But I found REAL, FULFILLING LIFE in getting to know Jesus and the family of brothers and sisters who walk with Jesus. I am 18 now, and the Lord has given me a heart desire to join the night watch of prayer at the 24/7 International House of Prayer in Atlanta. You might check out PHOP at www.pensacolahouseofprayer.com and IHOP-Atlanta at www.ihop-atlanta.com. My prayer is that you, too, will encounter God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in fullness of power.

Isaiah 61:1, 3. 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)

He prophesieth that Christ shall be anointed, and sent to preach. The joy of the faithful.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, therefore hath the Lord anointed me: he hath sent me to . . .  give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of gladness for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:10-12 There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all gone out of the way; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one. And Hebrews 9:27 It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Luke 12:5 But I will warn you whom you should fear: fear Him Who, after killing, has power to hurl into Hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!

John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Acts 16:31 Believe in and on the Lord Jesus Christ —that is, give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into his keeping, and you will be saved ; you and your household as well.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 Jesus who personally rescues and delivers us out of and from the wrath (bringing punishment) which is coming [upon the impenitent] and draws us to himself  [that is, invests us with all the privileges and rewards of the new life in Christ, the Messiah].

1 John 1:7, 9 And the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt—keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations. If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just  [true to His own nature and promises] and will forgive our sins (dismiss our lawlessness), and continuously cleanse us from all unrighteousness—everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought and action.

Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted.  But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; and the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the guilt and iniquity of us all. [8th century BC prophecy]

To ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your life as Savior and Lord, acknowledge that He is the Messiah and risen Son of God, confess that you are a sinner or one who has failed the Creator’s standard of morality and right standing before Him. Then repent or turn from your previous ways of thinking and acting to the Bible’s ways of thinking and acting. Ask the Father to give you new spiritual birth and Jesus to indwell you as Savior and Lord. Then follow Christ through obeying the Bible’s teachings and seek fellowship with true Christian believers.

prayer to the God of the Bible prevails

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I am the mother of three, grandmother of six, and great-grandmother of one. I grew up in the Episcopal Church, but it was not until 1969 that I met the risen Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible. At that time, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God.” [2 Timothy 3:16] “The Bible is not the product of elevated human consciousness or enlightened human intellect but is directly ‘breathed’ from God Himself.” [Jack Hayford]  During the past 38 years, the Lord has answered innumerable prayers; healed me many, many times; provided finances for my family; and given me the desires of my heart.  For others as well, through prayer ministry, I’ve seen Him do mighty works. I have known His great love. “And His banner over me is love.” [Song of Solomon 2:4] Jesus Christ is the only Savior of the world. And He calls all men to follow Him.

180 degree turnaround

The Lord Jesus Christ of the New Testament is my Savior. He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother and the lover of my soul. He is also my healer and my deliverer. I graduated from Davidson College in 1983 and worked for York Properties, Inc. for 10 years before attending Duke Graduate School in 1992 and 1993. During my entire adult life, I read every kind of book on the market except the Bible looking for techniques, methods, and blueprints for living. In the early 1990’s when my problems multiplied, I had no ground under me on which to stand. With only a thread of faith that Jesus and the Bible were the revealed truth of all history, I asked Jesus Christ to be my Savior and Lord in May 1995. I experienced forgiveness, and the presence of Christ suddenly inside me. Stunned by this encounter with the Living God, I did an 180-degree turnaround. One day I was a liberal intellectual, careerist type. The very next a pilgrim on the straight and narrow en route to the Celestial City—the City of Destruction or the world system forever behind me. (See the classic work on the Christian path: John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress.) Though the Lord’s restoration of my soul took time, remarkable mental and emotional healing happened in the years that followed. (See Psalm 23:3.) God also gave me a new career as a writer/ghostwriter/editor/researcher and directed me to pursue the riches of God further through Bible Study Fellowship, Raleigh Institute of Biblical Studies, and Christian Life School of Theology Global.
